Xilisoft Video to DVD Converter 6.1

Xilisoft Video to DVD Converter is a DVD authoring tool. It allows you to convert video files to DVD movies. The application comes with a built-in DVD burner, but you can also convert your videos to ISO images or even DVD movie folders to keep them on your hard drive for storage or to burn them later. This authoring tool also allows you to create menus for your DVD movies. Although you are provided with very generic templates, you can add text and edit the templates slightly.

Graphically, the application looks a lot like all other video converters by Xilisoft. I particularly like how clean the interface looks and how intuitive it is. There is on-screen help that guides you through the few steps that you need to follow.

Xilisoft Video to DVD Converter has good format support. In my testing, both MKV and MOV files were accepted. You can of course use AVI and MP4 files. Divx and Xvid files shouldn't be a problem. There are a few video editing tools like a video cutter and a tool that lets you add effects to your videos.

I am not sure whether this tool features GPU acceleration, but it is very fast. The converted files play well too.
